SDT was founded in 1996 as the sole supplier of quality, low cost RF coaxial connectors to SDP Components, Inc., a Canadian-based distributor/broker. Located in Shanghai, the high technology center of China SDT is housed in a modern, multi-level production facility. SDT is ISO9001 certified and is vertically integrated. We design, fabricate, plate, assemble and RF test our own connectors.

The factory maintains approximately 75 full time employees including a team of dedicated RF designers, and a labratory outfitted with network analyzers, CAD stations, and plating analysis equipment. A complement of trained, part time employees exists to quickly expand production capability if needed. We also maintain strategic alliances with many local, low cost subcontractors who allow increased manufacturing flexibility and capacity, and help maintain short lead times.

Our product line includes a broad mix of coax connector series and configurations made from a variety of materials and platings. Our customers sell to a wide range of markets including test and measurement (Agilent), medical (GE) and telecommunications (Nokia).
